Fun Time with the Gosling's

Jen & I went to seaview to have a look at the venue for my next wedding ( next Friday ) and I am really looking forward to it as it will give us so many opportunity's for some fantastic images,

if I can get the bride and groom away on their own for 30 minutes or so.

On the way home we stopped off at Subways for my favorite ...BMT with honey mustard..

Yum, yum, which we ate by the canoe lake and I just could not resist photographing the Canada Geese with their young ahhhh cute.

Ball Room Dancers ( IWDIG )

We all went to Landgaurd Manor for a foto shoot organized by Gary @ IWDIG , the ballroom dancers wanted some promo pictures, well these are not those images but while the other photographers were getting the shoot done I had fun taking the shots that I wanted.

The first three are conventional posed shots (yuk ) but the others were all taken as the dancers went through parts of the dances that they do. The last 5 images were all shot with a 50mm 1.4 canon lens and mostly at f1.4 which is why all of the crops are tight as we ran out of leg room.

Matt & Jaine 24-5-08

A few from Matt & Jaine's lovely wedding last Saturday that I had the pleasure of photographing,

we were very lucky with the weather as within an hour of taking the photographs it started to rain.

The venue had a very small garden for the service but as you can see quite nice for backgrounds

Belly Dancers & Freshwater Bay.

Hi,

Our camera club had a photo session with a local dance group on Wednesday evening, and it was complete chaos with too many chiefs shouting instructions so I do apologize in advance for the boring posing. I just stood back a took the shots that I liked and these are a few of them, my big disappointment are the back lighted shots I messed those right up it is something I have to try to do better at.

Isle of Wight Welsh Pony & Cob.

We went to the County Show Ground for a little fun to day, the last time we went out with the frog ( 1st pony ) we provided the entertainment for the spectators but this time she was a perfect angel we were placed 2nd & 4th which we were pleased with.

Lucinda my daughter showed Bob ( 2nd pony ) and she was very pleased to gain a 3rd with him as he is not really a show pony he is a jumping & hunting pony who is rather excitable.

The third pony is Mrs Cob or Annie we had a disappointing first run up for the judge as Annie exploded and I could not keep up ( too fat?) then we did a nice individual display but we stayed well down the line much to my amazement as her bad manners were nothing compared to what we had to watch !!

The next three pictures are just a few that were taken for my own amusement.

HOW DEEP IS THAT DITCH YR IN

Hill farm X-Country just had to post this, the kid lost it by being to far up the neck, but you have to give her credit for getting back on and then riding the little sod over the ditch, well done who ever you are.

Oh and which one of the series would you like to have as a free print ?

Wedding picture for the County Press

Here it is this is the picture that has been chosen to go into the county press as the couples wedding picture, the bride really wanted the sea and resort in the back ground and as you can see there was not much of a view to work with.

There is a little too much sky but a tighter crop then interferes with the trees so I decided this was the best it could be.

I like it and better still so do the bride and groom.

First Wedding of the year

Wow what a day we had on Saturday, it was a very long 13hr shoot BUT time just flew by, the Bride & Groom looked fantastic the whole wedding party just wanted to have fun.
